MEXDC will act as the spokesperson for the industry’s needs, serving as the intermediary between the government, media, and society. It will also advocate for regulatory, economic, and social policies.
MEXDC will undertake actions to promote and ensure the image and economic importance of the Data Center industry in the short, medium, and long term.
Another key focus of the Association will be driving initiatives to improve the relationship between Data Centers and sustainability. The goal is to ensure a healthy environment, a society with a high quality of life, and a thriving green economy.
- Promote and ensure the image and economic importance of the Data Center industry in Mexico.
- Drive initiatives that encourage environmental care from Data Centers.
- Foster education programs for the development of current and future personnel.
- Develop and disseminate market studies and analyses, creating activity indices, performance metrics, classifications, rankings, or impact assessments.
- Organize events, seminars, or promotional and outreach activities.
- Participate in fairs and exhibitions, organize meetings, establish international alliances, and, in general, engage in any activity that supports the sector, fosters talent creation or acquisition, and promotes the international presence of members and other industry stakeholders.
Any colocation or hyperscale Data Center company operating infrastructure in Mexico can become an MEXDC Associate. Additionally, any company within the Data Center ecosystem—manufacturers, integrators, distributors, engineering firms, consultants, etc.—can join as a partner.
