
MEXDC will act as the spokesperson for the needs of the industry, serving as the intermediary between the government, the media, and society at large, while also managing matters related to regulation, economic policy, and social policy.
MEXDC will undertake actions to promote and ensure the image and economic significance of the data center industry in the short, medium, and long term.
Another key area of focus for the Association will be promoting initiatives to enhance the relationship between data centers and sustainability, aiming to ensure a healthy environment, a society with a high quality of life, and a thriving green economy.
- To promote and ensure the image and economic importance of the Data Center industry in Mexico.
- To promote initiatives that foster environmental care within data centers.
- To promote educational programs for the development of current and future personnel.
- The preparation and dissemination of market studies and analyses, including the creation of activity indices, performance metrics, rankings, or impact measurements.
- The organization of events, seminars, or promotional and outreach activities.
- Participation in fairs and exhibitions, organizing meetings, signing international alliances, and, in general, any activity that involves defending the sector, creating or attracting talent, and promoting the international presence of members and other industry stakeholders.

Any colocation or hyperscale data center company operating infrastructures in the Mexican Republic can become a member of MEXDC. As partners, any company from the data center ecosystem can participate, including manufacturers, integrators, distributors, engineering firms, consultants, etc.
