The Development of Talent and Diversity

The Data Center sector is experiencing a talent shortage that could restrict its growth and future development. This shortage comes at a time when technology is advancing at an accelerated pace and dependence on digital services is increasingly significant.

Companies must invest in training and talent development programs, create attractive job opportunities, and promote diversity in their workforce to ensure they have the skilled and qualified workers needed to grow and thrive. Public training is essential to secure the workforce for future Data Centers, ranging from technical and professional training to university-level education, paving the way for public-private collaboration. In this event, we will speak with experts from the Data Center sector, government institutions, and universities about strategies to mitigate the talent crisis and how to prepare the professionals of the future.

DCD>Academy and MEXDC have created the “Data Center Talent Scholarship” to address the critical need for qualified professionals in the Data Center sector.

With the “Data Center Talent Scholarship,” DCD>Academy and MEXDC aim to prepare students in their final year of studies or recent graduates to succeed in the powerful and growing Data Center industry.

The Data Center Talent Scholarship will offer 20 young individuals a scholarship to acquire the skills and knowledge required by the Data Center industry through the e-learning format on the DCD>Academy virtual platform. This includes the DCT (Data Center Technician) courses, focused on training as facilities management technicians, and The Business of Data Centers, which provides an overview of the Data Center industry.
