OBJETIVES
Analysis of fiscal and tax regulations: Conduct a thorough review of the fiscal and tax regulations applicable to the data center sector in Mexico to identify potential areas for improvement and promote the industry’s growth.
Assessment of economic support needs: Identify the economic support required for the development of the data center industry, including the promotion of fiscal incentives and potential financing sources.
Proposal for regulatory and fiscal improvements: Develop proposals to improve regulatory and fiscal frameworks that support the sustainable growth of the data center sector in Mexico.
Dialogue with government authorities: Establish ongoing dialogue with relevant government authorities, including representatives from the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and the Ministry of Economy, to gather their insights and suggestions regarding regulatory improvements and sector promotion.
Promotion of the Commission: Develop strategies to promote the data center industry in Mexico, including participation in forums, events, and trade missions, as well as establishing strategic partnerships with other industry stakeholders.
Research and analysis of trends: Conduct studies and analyze international trends in regulatory, fiscal, and economic support for data centers to identify best practices and opportunities for the sector in Mexico.
